What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool which works by bringing your conscious and subconscious mind in harmony to bring about positive change.
Think of your subconscious as the hard drive of a computer. It stores all your experiences, behaviours, emotions and thoughts. Some of which are unwanted and not so helpful. Our aim is to re-programme those unhelpful learned behaviours and thinking patterns, therefore enabling more positive and rational thought processes.
Trance is a perfectly natural state of focused attention and replicates the dream state of REM. Through guided relaxation (hypnosis) your mind will be busy working on what it needs to do in the background to make things work for you.
